VELUX Insect Screens are created to protect any room from flies, spiders, mosquitoes, wasps and other small insects.
The insect screens are made from a durable, transparent material, which is barely visible and will not obstruct views. When not in use, the net can be stowed away in a top casing unit. It allows fresh air to enter the room from an open window, whilst not having to worry about uninvited small insects.
VELUX Insect Screens are mounted on to the wall and not the window frame. Therefore, it’s important that measurements are taking from the window opening to get an insect screen in the correct size. This blind is installed on to the wall of the window opening as supposed to the window itself. Therefore, you do not have to have a VELUX branded window for the blind to be compatible.
When ordering an insect screen, measure the width of the window opening on the interior wall to find the correct size insect screen. Insect screens are available in various widths with the following three heights: 1600 mm, 2000 mm and 2400 mm. The height, but not the width, is adjustable. If you have a window with vertical elements, you will need two insect screens and an additional installation kit.
